Some places just feel right from the moment you walk in. Botticelli is one of those places.

Botticelli opened in Takapuna in 1994 and hasn't moved since. The neighbourhood has changed around us — new cafés, new restaurants, new everything — but this corner has stayed the same. Warm room, familiar faces, handmade pasta made fresh before every service.
The menu is built around classic Italian — the dishes that earned the cuisine its reputation. We don't chase trends. We make the bolognese properly, we roll the fettuccine by hand, and we keep the wine list Italian at its core. Simple things done well, every night.

"We've had regulars for twenty years. That tells you everything."

Diliana, Botticelli
The music started early and it never stopped. Jazz on Tuesdays. Latin on Fridays. Acoustic Sundays. Local musicians, visiting artists, the occasional international act passing through Auckland. The bar next door fills up early on music nights. Some people come for dinner and end up staying three hours. That's exactly the idea.
